While we are conversing here today and to get to a solution quicker please have your wiring project up and going. Getting a question answered usually takes some time doing some visual checking on your part and then replying back to me. So be near your wiring project while we are getting things straight. And if you have accidentally selected the wrong category look to the side bar on main page on right and select another category. If your task at hand is not listed on the sidebar go >here< and ask your question in the non-categorized question section.

When you are installing a device with two switches it is best to use 14/3 romex. This will cut down on your wire pulls. No j-box is needed for this fan unit. It has it’s own j-box to terminate. Proper sizing of exhaust fans is very important. If you were to install too small CFM air removal problems may arise. If to large you will have a noise problem.
