How to install Bath GFCI Receptacle

Hello,

If you have not registered then do so by clicking on N.E.C. code book on right side bar. If no sidebar is present then look below, tap to log-in an be redirected to register. Then just follow instructions. Please do not use the maintenance tips above to register. If you have already registered go ahead and sign in below. Ask your question and if you experience any problems during the process use the maintenance tips button above to send me a quick note about it, use the comments section at bottom of that window. The maintenance tips is also used for anyone interested in registering to receive future emails about yearly maintenance tips, not for registering to ask questions. To register click on the NEC code book picture on right hand sidebar of my main website page.

While we are conversing here today and to get to a solution quicker please have your wiring project up and going. Getting a question answered usually takes some time doing some visual checking on your part and then replying back to me. So be near your wiring project while we are getting things straight. And if you have accidentally selected the wrong category look to the side bar on main page on right and select another category. If your task at hand is not listed on the sidebar go >here< and ask your question in the non-categorized question section.

Bath GFCI installs are relatively easy. Just make sure you install it close to your sink. This is where you will use it the most. Use the type box needed and pull your wire. I recommend using TR-WR GFCI plug. Arc-fault is not needed in bath. This reason is that it is safest and will last longest.
