While we are conversing here today and to get to a solution quicker please have your wiring project up and going. When you are installing a device with two switches it is best to use 14/3 romex. This will cut down on your wire pulls. No j-box is needed for this fan unit. It has it’s own j-box to terminate. Proper sizing of exhaust fans is very important. If you were to install too small CFM air removal problems may arise. If to large you will have a noise problem.

I am having a problem i am putting in 2 switches one for the light one for the exhaust fan for a bathroom i have 3 sets of wires one is hot from the breaker white, black, ground then one for the light same color and another for the fan same color i hook it up the way i thought its suppose to and trips the breaker what am i doing wrong please help
If you do not understand a 3-way light circuit, I would have a very hard time explaining here. I would suggest hiring an electrician for that one if you do not understand.
